We're on your side.
Most dating apps make money when you stay single. The longer you swipe, the more they grow. We thought that was a pretty strange business model for a product that's supposed to help you fall in love. So we built Snug – a service where our success only happens when yours does.
The People in Your Corner.

Chase built Snug after years of firsthand frustration with how modern dating works, and a conviction that honest feedback could change everything.

Ben brings the engineering instincts to make Snug smarter with every date. He believes the right combination of AI and human judgment can do something neither can alone.

Anna is the person in your corner. She makes the introductions, closes the feedback loop, and has an uncanny ability to see what's actually going on.

Rajkumar Janakiraman
Rajkumar spent 14 years at Microsoft before co-founding the incubator behind Dropbox Dash, one of the first enterprise AI products to ship at scale. At Snug, he turns every date into learning, making Snug a relationship lab, not just an app.

Emma & Garrett Kamkoff
Emma and Garrett run Snug's creative studio, from storyboards to the content you see every day. They're also a couple, which means the people telling Snug's story are living proof it's worth telling.

Two founders. One broken loop.
Chase had been on every app. Not because finding someone was hard, but because nothing helped him understand what was actually working – or what he actually wanted. Without any signal or feedback, he'd started convincing himself that things felt right when they didn't. He'd lost the thread of what would genuinely make him happy long term.
And it wasn't just him. Every person he went on a date with said the same thing. His friends said it too. Dating had become a black box – inhuman, exhausting, and completely without feedback. Nobody knew how they were coming across. Nobody knew what they actually wanted. Everyone was just guessing.
He called Ben – they'd built a company together before and Ben knew how to build things that actually learn. They started Snug in 2025 convinced that closing that feedback loop would change everything about how people date.
Built around a different incentive.
Intentional matching
We don't show you a feed. We make introductions. Every match is hand-reviewed by a matchmaker who understands what you're looking for – and, more importantly, who you actually are. That takes longer than an algorithm. It's supposed to.
The feedback loop
After every date, we reach out to both of you and ask what you noticed. That feedback goes straight to your matchmaker, who uses it to make the next introduction sharper. Most people have never had an honest, outside perspective on their dating. It's remarkable what changes when they do.
Concierge logistics
We handle the date planning so you can focus on showing up present. Your matchmaker knows the kind of settings where you do well and where you don't – and they'll factor that in. You just have to be there.
Community quality
Everyone in Snug is here intentionally. We turn down a lot of applicants – not because we're exclusive for its own sake, but because a community only works when people share values and maturity. The pool is smaller. The signal is much higher.
Dating, in the cities where we live.
